AtISA2 Sequence Data
TAIR Locus ID: AT1G03310
The genomic sequence analyzed spans nucleotides 813,601 - 817,000 on the forward strand of chromosome 1.
This gene is unusual in the regard that it lacks introns. The 3'-untranslated region noted in blue text is confirmed by EST sequence. There is no EST sequence available that overlaps the 5' end of this gene.
Isoform identification: This is one of three Arabidopsis genes that code for isoamylase-type DBEs. AtISO-2 was first identified from the characterization of the dbe1 gene by Zeeman et al. (Plant Cell, 1998). For a detailed description of the DBE isoforms in Arabidopsis, follow the "Isoform ID" link in the left panel.
Note on gene names: At this time we are using Project ID numbers as placeholders for specific gene names. There is no relation between the Project ID number and a particular enzyme subfamily.
