AtGDB Link

The nucleotide coordinates in the Arabidopsis genome of the cDNA sequences analyzed here can be found at the AtGDB link noted above.

Full length cDNA is available for this gene, so that all intron/exon junctions and 5'- and 3'-noncoding regions are directly confirmed. Click the AtGDB link for graphical display of genomic/EST/cDNA sequence alignments.

There is a single base pair discrepancy between the genomic sequence and at least two different cDNA clones. The polymorphism is located very near the end of the 3' UTR, at nucleotide 6,396 of the genomic sequence as it is formatted here.

Isoform identification: AtISA3 is one of three Arabidopsis genes that code for isoamylase-type DBEs. This particular isoform was identified in the Arabidopsis and rice genomes based on its similarity in sequence to the ISA1 and ISA2 isoforms. For a detailed description of the DBE isoforms in Arabidopsis, and their degree of conservation in the plant kingdom, follow the "Isoform ID" link in the left panel.
